I’m pretty sure most moms out there had their moment last Mother’s Day. I for one had an unforgettable one. Actually I wasn’t expecting anything that day as my day was occupied nursing the little one. We even took him to his pediatrician due to high fever. He underwent a CBC Test to make sure that its nothing serious.
While waiting for the CBC result, my son together with his aunties went for a stroll in the mall. I chose to stay at the clinic so I could take a Continue Reading
Though there are lots of things that I like most being pregnant, there are also things that I like the least while having this growing bump. But please don’t misunderstand me, it’s not the pregnancy that I don’t like, its the changes is my body while pregnant that I don’t like. Here are few things that I like the least through out my pregnancy.
I just had my check up yesterday, and since I am close to my due date, one of my concerns that I discussed with my Ob-gyne is the pain reliever that are available in the hospital where I am to give birth. Everybody knows how painful it is to be in labour that’s why I am considering to get a pain reliever once I started my labour.
Natural pain reliever may not be enough to enable us to cope with the intensity of labour pains. Good thing that there are several types of drugs for Continue Reading
A common concern of women who gets pregnant for the first time is how they will know if they are already in labour. It’s hard to guess whether you are in a true labour or false labour especially if you are having it for the first time. If you wanna know more about false labour you may check out my previous blog post about it. For first time Continue Reading
We are on our first week of potty training my seventeen months old tot. Our first attempt to let him pee on the potty was successful, but it’s still quite a long way for us until he gets trained. As we move on with the training there were few bloopers that we encountered along the way. Here are few that I remember.
While wearing only brief, holding his “potots” (that’s how we call his man thing) Continue Reading
My son is turning 17 months old tomorrow and I am attempting to potty train him. It’s a challenge for the whole family and we hope he get use to it easily. We bought a potty trainer the other day and we started to introduce the little one to the potty. At first he thought it was a toy as he wanted to play with it but with few explanations we were able to encourage him to sit down on the potty trainer.
We decided to start the training by letting him pee on the potty when he woke up in Continue Reading
Pregnancy is one of the most important and exhilarating event in a woman’s life. It’s an extraordinary stage of a woman’s life where feelings of awe and excitement are mingled. And along these feelings are physical and emotional changes that a woman experience as she accommodate a new life growing inside her. Some of those changes are flattering while there are those that are disappointing.
My son is in a wilful stage, the more I say no the more he will do it. He is up to discovering new things as well as challenging his physical abilities; in short he is in a hyperactive mode most of the time. He is currently in a highly constructive and formative stage that’s why it is important to watch out of almost everything he do (especially his actions)as he might get accustomed to it and might bear it while growing up.
Among the tough challenges of being a mom is incorporating Continue Reading
