Fruits are rich in natural vitamins. It provides essential nutrients our body needs and promotes good health and disease prevention. Aside from beautiful and glowing skin, fruits help reduce the risk of obesity, cancer, heart disease and other illness. It also eases the absorption of vitamins and mineral to our body. Fruit should be part of our children’s diet. The nutrients from fruits are beneficial in our children’s growth and development.
I am fortunate to have a toddler who is a fruit lover. I don’t have to battle and force him to eat fruit and vegetables as he has a big appetite, he even pig out sometimes. His mode brightens up once he sees something for his tummy. Eating is just one of his big happiness. He eats while he plays and play while eating. There is no doubt that these two are his favorite activities during the day.
