If you want to fight premature aging, then stop hanging out with smokers. We religiously knew that smoking is bad for our health, but did you also know that smoking is bad for our skin? Yes that’s right, smoking may damage our skin as it breaks down collagen and elastin. It will not only damage the skin of smokers but the non smokers as well. We are all aware that passive smoking is dangerous to our health and again, it’s dangerous to our skin. If you keep inhaling those second hand smoke, its like as if you are a smoker yourself. So, stop hanging out with your smoker friends, it doesn’t mean that you have to unfriend them just make a way to avoid them whenever they smoke. Also avoid going to smoking area in public places.
If you are in a circle of smokers, ask them to smoke somewhere else, or you do the initiative by leaving the hangout place once they start smoking. It won’t hurt them if you do it, in that way, you are giving your skin and your lungs a big favor.
